Our Ideal Ecologic Village
Just imagine waking up in a van, parked in a peaceful garden. When you open the door, you are surrounded by many avocado- and bananatrees. It seems that civilization is far away. You take the yogamat and do some meditation. The sounds of all the birds around you, is so amazing. When you open your eyes again, you see the red and orange colors of the sky. Tenerife is waking up!
You take a little stroll and pass the two goats who are chewing calmly and the chickens walking between the Aloë Vera plants. Now you have a good view over the ocean: the sun that is rising and you even can see Gran Canaria far away. You pick some bananas, papayas and oranges from trees around you. Perfect for breakfast! You add it to your fresh bread with homemade marmalade. Since all fruit and vegetables are organic, it’s not only healthy, but very delicious as well.
Other members from the association have waken up now as well. You wish them a “buenos dìas” and learn about their lifes, travel plans, and cultures. It is so interesting to meet people all over the world and maybe even create new friendships.
You have some work on your laptop to do, so you take it to room which is specifically for digital nomads. It is so convenient to be able to use all the equipment you need. And with co-workers around you, you feel extra motivated to do your work.
Together with other members, you make a nutritious lunch with our tomatoes, avocados, corn and lemons. Since it’s so warm, you take our snorkelsets and surfboard with you, and go to the beach.
When you get back at the finca, you take a relaxing hot shower underneath the stars. Afterwards we all have a barbecue together. You meet new people and get to know the volunteers a bit better. Maybe you even get inspired to become a volunteer yourself.
Before you get back into the van, you take one more look at the sky. It is so bright, so amazing! You are looking forward to the next day. Other members have shared some hidden gems and you can’t wait to get your hiking shoes on and explore the beautiful nature in Güímar.
