Terms and Conditions of Asociación Nomad Birds Club Social y Ecológico

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. By submitting an application for membership with the Asociación Nomad Birds Club Social y Ecológico, you agree to abide by these terms. Non-compliance may result in the revocation of membership privileges and, in certain cases, may incur financial penalties.

1. Membership Application

1.1. Membership in the Asociación Nomad Birds Club Social y Ecológico is open to individuals who support our mission to promote local tourism, products, and cultural heritage in Tenerife. Our organization operates as a non-profit, reinvesting all proceeds into community development initiatives in alignment with Spanish Law 49/2002 on Non-Profit Organizations and Tax Incentives.

1.2. To apply, please complete the Membership Form (FICHA DE INSCRIPCIÓN DE SOCIOS), which includes:

  • Full Name
  • Nationality
  • Date of Birth
  • ID/Passport Number
  • Occupation
  • Contact Information (address, phone, email)
  • Preferred Membership Type (Volunteer/Collaborator/Visitor/Manager)

1.3. Membership is subject to approval by the association’s board, which reserves the right to accept or reject any application without providing an explanation, per Article 22 of the Spanish Constitution, governing freedom of association.

2. Membership Contributions & Fees

2.1. As a non-profit, the association relies on recommended contributions from its members to fund its community and ecological activities. These contributions vary depending on the specific tours or services in which members participate and are regarded as donations in alignment with the non-profit goals of Asociación Nomad Birds Club Social y Ecológico. Contributions are non-refundable.

2.2. Once accepted as a member, individuals will receive access to a range of association activities, including guided tours, educational events, and farm-based collaborations.

3. Membership Benefits

3.1. Approved members may enjoy the following benefits:

  • Participation in exclusive tours (cultural, natural, and gastronomic experiences).
  • Access to the association’s farm, fresh produce, and local events.
  • Opportunities to engage in Permaculture Days and other mindful practices, including yoga and meditation sessions.

4. Rules of Conduct

4.1. All members must adhere to the association’s community guidelines, which are intended to ensure a respectful and enriching experience for all participants:

  • Quiet Hours: Please respect quiet hours between 22:00 and 07:00.
  • Communication: Any concerns should be directed to the association headquarters privately. Public complaints are not permitted to maintain a respectful community environment.
  • Health and Property Insurance: Members are responsible for their own health and property insurance. The association is not liable for personal injuries, accidents, or the loss of personal belongings during tours or stays.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1. Individual Review: Each cancellation request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the association, which reserves the right to make a final decision regarding refunds or rescheduling. Members are encouraged to communicate any unforeseen circumstances directly with the association.

5.2. Free Cancellation: Members may cancel any tour or activity free of charge up to one week before the scheduled date. Cancellations made after this period may incur a fee, based on the nature of the activity and associated costs.

5.3. Special Circumstances: Cancellations due to documented serious issues, such as illness (with a valid doctor’s note), will be considered individually. The association retains discretion over whether a full or partial refund, credit, or rescheduling will be offered in such cases.

6. Liability

6.1. The association shall not be held responsible for personal actions, accidents, or incidents that may occur during any events, tours, or activities hosted by the association, as per Articles 1,902 and 1,903 of the Spanish Civil Code regarding civil liability.

6.2. By becoming a member, you agree to participate in activities at your own risk and release the association from any liability in accordance with applicable Spanish laws.

7. Data Protection

7.1. The Asociación Nomad Birds Club Social y Ecológico is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of its members in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 and Spain’s Ley Orgánica 3/2018, de 5 de diciembre, de Protección de Datos Personales y garantía de los derechos digitales.

7.2. By submitting your membership application, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal data for the purposes of managing membership, organizing events, and communicating relevant information about the association. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

7.3. Members have the right to access, rectify, erase, or limit the processing of their personal data. Requests to exercise these rights should be directed to the association’s Data Protection Officer via email at [insert email address].

7.4. The association will retain personal data for the duration of membership and, if necessary, for the minimum legal period required thereafter, as defined by applicable laws.

8. Photography and State Employee Disclosure

8.1. Any individual who is currently employed by, contracted by, or in any way affiliated with a government or state entity, including any mission involving the collection of information, photographing, or documenting the Asociación Nomad Birds Club Social y Ecológico, must disclose this status to the association in writing prior to conducting any such activities on our premises.

8.2. Failure to provide advance notification to the association will be interpreted as a violation of these terms, and the individual will be liable to pay a penalty of €250,000. The association reserves the right to pursue enforcement of this penalty under Spanish law, should it deem such measures necessary and reasonable.


By submitting your membership application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. You also acknowledge that membership approval is at the sole discretion of the association and may be denied without explanation.
